Claude Code is not sold separately: the official page says you can access it with a Claude Pro or Max plan, a Team or Enterprise plan, or a Claude Console (API) account. The Claude Free plan does not include it. Enterprise and API usage pricing: see official site.

Cons
- No free plan includes Claude Code
- Heavier use requires Max at $100 or $200 per month
- It is an agent, not a full editor, so there is no built-in Tab autocomplete editor
- Only uses Claude models
